Our Lady’s School was bursting with colour, creativity, and curiosity as students celebrated Chinese New Year with two days of hands-on workshops. As a designated Confucius Classroom, the school embraced the spirit of the Year of the Snake, giving pupils a chance to explore Chinese culture through art, language, and interactive experiences—all delivered by Â鶹Íø’s Confucius Institute.

From clay knot making and paper folding to Chinese blow painting and a Mandarin taster session, the activities captivated students, sparking enthusiasm and curiosity. Every brushstroke, fold, and sculpted knot told a story, immersing pupils in centuries-old traditions while introducing them to the beauty of the Mandarin language.

Teachers praised the workshops for their engaging, interactive style and the creative use of language and multimedia to bring Chinese culture to life.
