Jeremy Miles addresses future teachers at ΒιΆΉΝψ
Jeremy Miles MS, the Minister for Education and the Welsh Language visited ΒιΆΉΝψ today, where he addressed an audience of students and staff on the benefits of getting into teaching and outlined some of the Welsh Governmentβs key Education priorities.
The Minister spoke with ΒιΆΉΝψ students studying to become qualified school teachers and sixth form students from local schools. The key messages for our aspiring teachers was the importance of teaching as a profession in helping close the educational attainment gap and in supporting the Welsh language.
Professor Carl Hughes, Head of the School of Education Sciences, ΒιΆΉΝψ said, βIt is a great pleasure to welcome the minister to ΒιΆΉΝψ to talk to our aspiring teachers. We all know the importance of teaching to helping us educate the future generations to meet their potential. Weβre very proud of our students as they complete their education and go out to help educate children in schools. I cannot think of a better professionβ.
