ΒιΆΉΝψβs School of Biological Sciences has again been ranked as the best in Wales by students
The School held on to the top spot following the results of the National Student Survey, a poll of around half a million graduating students from universities across the UK.
It is the most comprehensive survey of its kind and gives students the chance to say how satisfied they were with all aspects of their courses.
Prof Chris Freeman, head of the School of Biological Sciences, expressed his delight at the results.
βThis is the best thumbs-up our students can give us, so weβre incredibly pleased,β he said.
βWeβre still top in Wales and two thirds of our scores even went up this year, which is all down to the hard work of our staff here in the School of Biological Sciences.β
βExcitingly, our school is expanding and developing so we hope students will keep on benefiting as we grow.β
βThe School of Biological Sciences at ΒιΆΉΝψ has always been known for doing world-leading research, but now we also have a growing reputation in providing the best education and experience for our students β and weβre very proud of it.β
βOf course, we have our eyes on the top spot in the UK now!β he added
Overall ΒιΆΉΝψ achieved 91% student satisfaction, which puts them number one in Wales and in the top 10 of non-specialist universities in Britain.
Such a score means they are level with Oxford University and higher than any other Russell Group institution.
