The release of the 2015 National Student Survey (NSS) results has seen phenomenal success for the School of Environment Natural Resources and Geography (SENRGy). The School achieved a hugely impressive 97% overall satisfaction score; in addition to all the schoolβs undergraduate subject areas achieving satisfaction scores in the UK top ten.
ΒιΆΉΝψ is now rated FIRST in the UK in the and Agriculture subject areas (both 100% overall satisfaction); the latter including SENRGyβs and degrees. In addition, ΒιΆΉΝψ is SIXTH in the UK in subject area; scoring 98% overall satisfaction.
The success for SENRGy mirrors that of ΒιΆΉΝψ as a whole, which remains in the UK top 10 (and FIRST in Wales) for Overall Student Satisfaction; as well as for measures including: Teaching, Academic Support and Teaching and Feedback.
Commenting on the 2015 NSS results, SENRGyβs Head of School Professor Morag McDonald commented βthis is a tremendous result and credit to the efforts that all our technical, administrative and academic staff put in to teaching and student support. The results are also a credit to the productive partnership we develop with our students, particularly through the Schoolβs Staff-Student Consultative Committee, and our peer-guiding scheme. ΒιΆΉΝψ is in a fabulous location for studying environmental and geographical subjects and it is incredibly pleasing to see that SENRGy students are hugely satisfied with their experienceβ.
The past twelve months have seen much success for SENRGy in the fields of research and student achievement; these latest NSS results are the icing on the cake. The School is now looking forward to welcoming new and returning students to ΒιΆΉΝψ in September, and the start of another successful 12 months!
