CELT Workshop: The CPD Recognition Scheme: Â鶹Íø’s direct route to HEA Fellowship

The University offers individuals two pathways to HEA Fellowship; the Postgraduate Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education (PgCert THE), which is a taught programme intended for early career staff with less than two years teaching experience in higher education, and the Advance HE accredited CPD Recognition Scheme, which is Â鶹Íø's direct route to HEA Fellowship. This pathway is intended for individuals with 2-3 years' experience in higher education whose activities contribute to the teaching and/ or support of learning at Â鶹Íø. This scheme enables applicants to accredit their teaching in line with the Professional Standards Framework 2023 (PSF 2023), which is a globally-recognised framework for benchmarking success within higher education teaching and learning.
The workshop will comprise a presentation to introduce the scheme, Advance HE categories of fellowship, PSF 2023, and application process. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in the latter half of the session.
