We were very sad to hear that Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas passed away on 7th February. Dafydd was a founding member of our Advisory Board, whilst serving as Chancellor of Â鶹Íø. He stepped down from the Board on being appointed Welsh Government Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport in 2017, but always remained so interested in our research and projects.

He was a wonderful person to speak to about heritage, place, culture and Wales.
