Why did you choose to study at Â鶹Íø Business School?

I loved studying at Â鶹Íø, it’s a wonderful University set within a beautiful part of North Wales. The modules were interesting, the staff members were supportive, and the opportunities were endless! Growing up in North Wales, I knew that I wanted to stay within this beautiful country to study and Â鶹Íø was the perfect choice - even before my open day, I knew that Â鶹Íø was where I wanted to attend and I feel very fortunate to have been offered a place at the Business School. I loved every minute of it, and made some long lasting memories there.

How has studying at Â鶹Íø Business School helped your career?

Achieving my Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees from Â鶹Íø Business School provided me with the opportunity to really kickstart my career - I was fortunate to be employed straight away into a Finance role which may not have been possible without the knowledge and skills I gained throughout my time at Â鶹Íø. Whilst my Degrees have helped me kickstart my career, they also provided so much more. Becoming a Course Representative allowed me to develop my confidence, helping out on Open Days  allowed me to share my experience with upcoming students and studying at the School allowed me to meet so many people that I’ll never forget.

In what ways did studying in the Business School enhance your employability?

In addition to gaining a job role within my Degree subject, I have gained and strengthened so many other employability skills through the opportunities that the Business School provided. From becoming a Course Representative, a Social Media Administrator to being part of the Annual Business Competition team, each opportunity led me to where I am today.

What advice would you give those thinking of studying at Â鶹Íø?

Grasp every opportunity that’s on offer and keep working hard, and also make sure to take advantage of studying within the beautiful location.
