Help with personal problems, disabilities, finances, halls, employment advice etc: Office hours (9am-5pm)
If you have problems that are not academic but still affect your studies, then it is important for you to let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer you the right support. You can speak to the following teams:
- Personal tutors: information on who your tutor is will be on MyÂ鶹Íø, and you can email them to make an appointment. They are there to discuss any general problems and illnesses you may have, and will offer advice or let you know who else you need to speak to.
- Peer Guides help new students settle in, and will answer your questions, show you around, and make sure you meet new people.
- IT can help you with gaining access to the internet, changing your password, setting up software on your laptop, adding printer credits to your account, and so on.
- For any module, timetable, graduation questions, contact Student Administration.
- Employability information and advice, as well as details about the Â鶹Íø Employability Award Scheme.
- Housing:

- International student advice and support, as well as social events.
- Disability service.
Or: - Personal Learning Support Plans are available through the disability service for those who need specific support from extra time to submit work, to specialist learning equipment, assistance from notetakers, receiving PowerPoint slides before lectures, and help gathering library books.
