PhD canddiate in Banking and Finance at Â鶹Íø Business School, BSc and MSc graduate of Â鶹Íø. I am interested in the new shape of banking, and currently researching the implications of the financial technology sector on traditional banks.Â

Ahmed is a part time third year PhD student in Banking and Finance at Â鶹Íø Business School.
His research focus on Socioeconomic change and credit ratings, and is supervised by Professor Owain ap Gwilym & Professor Rasha Alsakka
In 2022, Ahmed was awarded the Â鶹Íø alumni fund scholarship securing full tuition fees waiver on his doctoral studies.
Ahmed is also a full-time international recruitment officer at Â鶹Íø, focusing on recruiting international students from, Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, Central Asia, and in charge of sponsor relations. Â
